The Manager, Marketing and Communications is responsible for defining and maintaining the organization’s market positioning, narrative, and messaging architecture, ensuring consistency, credibility, and alignment with business strategy driving relentless visibility, engagement and supporting Sales in driving revenue opportunities.
This role owns VECTRA’s market narrative, positioning, and strategic messaging, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with sales, delivery, and leadership priorities in a global remote-first consulting environment. It ensures clear market positioning, effective audience targeting, and strong alignment between narrative, sales strategy, and delivery capabilities, leveraging data, analytics, and AI-driven insight across all media platforms
Key Responsibilities
- Define and continuously refine VECTRA’s global narrative, positioning, and value propositions across ESG, sustainability, verification, and AI-enabled services across all media platforms
- Identify priority audiences, buyer personas, decision-makers, and influencers across regions, sectors, and client types
- Translate corporate strategy into integrated marketing and communications plans with clear objectives and success metrics
- Oversee audience penetration strategies across all relevant channels including digital, events, conferences, partnerships, media, and executive visibility
- Guide the use of advanced analytics, market intelligence, and AI to assess reach, resonance, and competitive positioning
- Ensure consistent messaging across all marketing assets, media, and stakeholder communications
- Directly support pipeline development, account strategy, and market expansion
- Drive marketing effectiveness and efficiency through prioritization, reuse of core assets, and disciplined execution
- Act as an advisor on market perception, narrative risk, and reputation management
- Ensure consistency and audience right messaging cross channels, regions, and teams for maximum visibility and engagement
- Use of latest technology to drive effectiveness and efficiency of MarCom with maximum results
- Act as narrative authority and decision-maker
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading Marketing & Communications l, with responsibility for positioning, narrative, go-to-market messaging, and cross-channel execution in a growth environment.
- Experience in consulting or professional services marketing, ideally within ESG, sustainability, risk, compliance, or other complex B2B & B2C domains where credibility and trust are central.
- Strong understanding of remote-first marketing leadership, including how to build rhythm, accountability, and high-quality output across distributed teams, time zones, and external partners.
- Experience building marketing operating systems, including campaign planning, content governance, brand standards, and internal enablement so Sales and delivery teams can consistently use and amplify messaging.
- Strong analytical, market intelligence, and performance capability, able to use data, dashboards, and experimentation to improve audience targeting, penetration, conversion, and marketing ROI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to craft compelling executive-level narratives and translate technical topics into clear messaging for clients, partners, and the broader market.
- High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism, particularly in handling executive communications, sensitive commercial information, and reputation-related matters.
- Comfortable navigating complexity and ambiguity, able to rapidly form a point of view, set priorities, and drive clear execution amid fast-changing market conditions and evolving strategy.
- Systems thinker with strong attention to detail, capable of designing repeatable marketing workflows and ensuring consistency and quality across assets, channels, and regions.
- Collaborative, inclusive, and culturally aware leader, skilled at aligning Sales, delivery teams, and subject-matter experts into one coherent market voice across diverse audiences.
- Able to balance brand, audience trust, and long-term positioning with commercial priorities, ensuring marketing directly supports pipeline growth while protecting credibility and strategic differentiation.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience.
